Treating Infertility
with Oriental Medicine
CINDY MICLEU, LAc, MTCM, has been practicing Chinese medicine since 1985 and teaching since 1991. Trained in both the U.S. and in Chengdu, China, her major focus is in women’s health. She is a founder and director of the Jade Institute, a Seattle-based center dedicated to providing advanced education programs and mentorship opportunities in Oriental medicine, supporting the development of our professional community, and creating avenues for practitioners to share their experience and insight with each other.
SEMINAR SCHEDULE
2010 Seminars to Be Announced.
This 2-day course is a thorough discussion of specific reproductive disorders that can cause infertility. Diagnosis and disease mechanisms will be discussed from both an Eastern and Western perspective. Participants will gain confidence in treating infertility and learn how to interface with other medical professionals about their patients seeking to conceive. TCM patterns, lab data, lifestyle, basal temperature interpretation, sperm disorders, and heart-spirit issues are among the areas discussed.
Cost: Early Registration: (14 calendar days prior to each seminar) $275
Registration (less than 14 calendar days prior to the seminar): $300
14.5 CEUs. All courses are approved for continuing education/professional development activity units by the NCCAOM and the state of California. Please contact us to determine whether these courses meet the requirements for your state.
Times: Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., lecture begins at 9 a.m. There will be a 75-minute lunch break. Seminar concludes at 5:30 p.m.
Conditions for Registration: No one is considered registered until payment is received in our office. Checks or payment received after the cut-off date for early registration will need to be for $300. Early registration discount ends 10 business days (14 calendar days) prior to each seminar. No exceptions will be made. Lodging and parking are the responsibility of the registrant.
Cancellation/Refund Policy: A $20 administrative fee applies to all cancellations and will be subtracted from refund. Due to contractual obligations to the hotels, Golden Flower Chinese Herbs cannot refund registration fees for cancellations made less than 14 calendar days before any particular seminar. No refunds will be issued from 14 calendar days prior to each respective seminar. No exceptions.
