Kuan Yin Standing Qigong
Awakening the Soul Qigong

Golden Flower Chinese Herbs Education Center
2724 Vassar Pl NE
Albuquerque, NM 87043

Qi is the essence of life. Qigong is the exchange of qi between us and the universe. Qigong promotes health and well-being by balancing the flow of qi in your body.

Master Li will guide us in the exploration and enhancement of personal Qi in the form of gentle but powerful moving and non-moving exercises.
Sheng Zhen Wuji Yuan Gong cultivates a natural flow of Qi between people and the Universe. This qigong benefits our overall health. Through the movements, Qi is stimulated which improves our circulation and relaxes the body, which in turn creates the ability to receive healing Qi and expel murky or diseased Qi. The quality of our qi affects our quality of life. Sheng Zhen helps people connect with nature and balance emotions; it elevates the spirit through opening and purifying the heart. Rejuvenate your body, mind, and spirit with a unique opportunity to study Qigong with Master Li Jun Feng. This intensive weekend course is designed to be beneficial to students of all levels.

Kuan Yin Standing Qigong

As one does the practice of Kuan Yin Standing Qigong, one is physically strengthened and the back is made supple and flexible. The flexibility develops, not from pushing the body’s limits but rather from letting go, allowing the qi to take over from the will. Through the practice, as the qi flows through the body, it gradually does the work of opening the heart of the practitioner. In doing so, it releases the suppleness and the compassion of the original heart. The grace that is developed in the practice is simply a reflection of the true nature of the human heart. Physically, this practice not only purifies the meridians and strengthens the spine, but also helps in developing healthier muscles. It is during relaxation in movementÔø‡Ôø‡Ôø‡not exertionÔø‡Ôø‡Ôø‡that the muscles are strengthened.

Awakening the Soul Qigong

This simple but powerful form is done seated in a chair, and is appropriate for students of all levels. Awakening the Soul calms the mind and opens the heart. When the heart is open, it possesses the qualities of willingness and suppleness, of having a natural sense of wonder and freedom from fear. As these qualities grow and develop, one can return to the origin and become one with the pulse of the universe.

"Looking back at the more than twelve years I have been doing the Sheng Zhen practices I have seen my respect and appreciation for the gifts of Sheng Zhen deepen as time passes. I have seen old destructive habits (both physical and mental) dissolve and replaced by a sense of openness. I have a much better understanding of my body and how it affects my mind and my inner state and vice versa. I have seen how others have been transformed by the power inherent to the practices. It is truly a humbling experience to have the privilege to watch and be a part of this amazing process within myself and in others." -- Anabel Alejandrino
