SEMINAR SCHEDULE
WITH JAKE FRATKIN

Denver, Colorado
November 10, 2007
The Westin Westminster
10600 Westminster Blvd Westminster, CO 80020

Dr. Fratkin’s latest presentation was so popular in 2006 that he is repeating it in new cities all over the country for 2007. There is a great deal of information covered in this 2-section class in a short amount of time.

The first section focuses on the treatment of neurotransmitter deficiencies with Chinese herbal medicine. In this section, you will learn the role of neurotransmitter imbalances in such diverse disease patterns as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, hypertension, cardiac arrhythmia, premenstrual syndrome, insomnia, obesity, chronic fatigue syndrome, mood disorders and learning disorders. These “modern” diseases will be discussed in the context of their zang-fu pattern and subsequent treatment with Chinese herbal formulas.

The second section of the program is a discussion of clinical applications of Wen Bing theory. In this section, Dr. Fratkin will discuss common febrile diseases such as the common cold and influenza, but also modern epidemics such as SARS, Avian Flu, and West Nile Virus. Classical formulas will be highlighted along side anti-viral formulas that have grown out of modern research.

“Jake is a very organized and clear presenter. He has a great understanding of Chinese Medicine and is able to share the breadth of his knowledge with his students in very practical ways. They can immediately use this new information in their treatments.”
-- Claudette Baker, Former President, Illinois State Acupuncture Association
